Bio-Electronics’ primary activities are maintenance and support of clinical devices and systems: that is, equipment intended for diagnosis, therapy, or monitoring of physiological parameters. Bio-Electronics' Inspection and Preventive Maintenance (IPM) program is designed to prolong the active life of health care equipment through periodic inspections and maintenance The Bio-Electronics program has been tested through hundreds of Joint Commission, DNV, CAH, Medicare, State and radiological health surveys without any major discrepancy. It is a dynamic system that can flex as requirements change.
Our preventative maintenance service programs are designed to prolong the active life of health care equipment through periodic inspections and maintenance. Our programs have been tested through hundreds of inspections including The Joint Commission (TJC), state Medicare/Medicaid certifications along with state and federal radiological health inspections and have proven to deliver the highest levels of regulatory compliance and exemplary up-time statistics. These options allow hospitals and other health care facilities to select the level of maintenance and support services that best meet the needs of each organization.
Provides all services with the exception of the cost of repair parts. This plan helps facilities plan and manage medical equipment service expenses and minimize non-budgeted costs.
Provides technician(s) dedicated to the hospital on a full-time basis, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day. The In-House program includes all preventative maintenance and repair labor and documentation.
This basic program provides an economical way for health care facilities to satisfy regulating agency requirements for documentation, testing procedures, and testing frequency. Preferred pricing on repair labor and parts offers additional savings.
Complying with regulating agency requirements requires accurate inspection, calibration, and documentation. Bio-Electronics Prevent Service programs have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding regulating agency requirements. With any Bio-Electronics service contract, your covered equipment will meet or exceed regulating agency (The Joint Commission, DNV, DHHS) requirements.
Bio-Electronics also offers non-contract repair services charged on a time-and-materials basis. No matter how you choose to work with us, you can count on Bio-Electronics’ professional, reasonably-priced services to meet or exceed the strictest regulatory requirements. Our service rates are generally 40 to 60% below that of most medical equipment manufacturers.
This economical program provides electrical safety testing and documentation only. It does not meet the requirements for JCAHO or state Medicare/Medicaid certifications, which specify annual documented inspection and preventive maintenance.
